The government stopped saying "artificial." We never started.

By executive order, the United States retired "artificial intelligence" for a new name: Super Intelligence — SI. The whole field moved, in a single week, from a machine imitating us to an intelligence beyond us.

The ticker is Ψ — for two thousand years the symbol of the psyche, the mind; physicists borrowed it for the wavefunction.
